Last night, I dreamt that Find had an amazing sale and I shopped there for hours. I have also had this dream about Ferdinand, and a vintage store that only exists in my dreams. I should not have recurring fashion dreams, but I do.
This week, I got a gorgeous gold fishscale belt at Material Objects to replace my old one that disintegrated. Now I must wear belted dresses forever so I have an excuse for this belt.
Okay, when you watch this video, pay attention to Scott’s belt situation. He’s the guy to the left of the bed in the red shirt.
So, that is so weird that I really hope the shirt-tucked-into-tight-jeans-with-a-belt-outside-of-the-belt-loops-and-below-the-defined-waist look is a big trend for this fall. Are there any other examples of this sort of belt placement? I am fascinated by it. I mean, the belt loops are RIGHT THERE, and Scott Thompson DOES NOT CARE. He just acts like it’s normal to ignore them. I respect the inherent awesomeness of anyone cool enough to try to pull off a look this quietly bizarre.
